WHO WE TARGET

  • HIV-positive children and caregivers.
  • Children exposed to HIV (PMTCT) or at high risk (e.g., children of sex workers).
  • Victims and girls at risk of gender-based violence (GBV).
  • Child-headed households.

HOW WE ACHIEVE THIS

  • Partnering with government structures for effective targeting.
  • Providing tailored services based on evidence-based models.
  • Focusing on age-appropriate interventions.
  • Establishing community referral pathways and group-based verification for HIV-positive beneficiaries.

ROLE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

  • The Community-Based Services Department plays a vital role in supporting our mobility project by:

    • Coordinating women’s group integration into government programs.
    • Providing social protection and welfare to vulnerable populations.
    • Mobilizing HIV-affected communities for development programs and grants.
    • Monitoring and documenting project progress at the district level.
